Analysis and strategy of the comapany IceWarp on the Czech and foreign markets

The thesis aims to analyze the recent activity of the IceWarp company on the Czech and foreign market and then to propose new strategy for Great Britain. The introduction presents the groupware solution and the product IceWarp Server. The next part contains information about the Czech branch and describes the processes of customer acquisition, customer care department and technical support department. Then it is made the comparison with British branch which has the same structure. Based on the indentified shortage the new strategy is proposed in two version differing in financial cost.
The selection of software for cooperation support within a group of self-employed individuals

This bachelor thesis explores the selection of appropriate software solutions for co-ordination of activities within the group of self-employed individuals. The aim is to find and recommend the ideal solution which will be beneficial in terms of communication and data sharing under the predetermined conditions. The first part of thesis deals with the theoretical framework and is focused on the explanation of terminology and the description of basic methodological principles. This part of works is based on secondary literary and internet sources. The description of relations and activities within the group is followed by the analysis of the current state of communication and data management. Subsequently, the deficiencies of the system are examined and on the basis of these findings, the specific functional requirements and technical parameters of the new system are established. The next part of the thesis includes the comparison of chosen software tools according to the specific requirements and the description of the functionality of these tools. The compared applications are web-based file hosting services, then the specific Google Apps group and finally a cloud computing software IceWarp Mail Server (free access within the group). At the conclusion of bachelor thesis is evaluation and comparison an assessment applications and recommended the most suitable of it. The benefit of this work is comparison SaaS model applications suitable for collaboration, presentation of their functionality and selection a particular solution suitable of the self-employed group, by extension any group with similar needs and requirements.
Assumptions and benefits of IceWarp groupware server implementation

The aim of this dissertation is to define favourable conditions for a company to implement IceWarp Mail Server groupware product. In the first part of the dissertation the author defines the term "groupware" and analyses the market of groupware applications of similar functionality, presenting a basic comparison with IceWarp Mail Server. The second part is focused on functionality description of each IceWarp Mail Server module and its possible uses. The author also compares individual ways of accessing the functions of a supported client and their advantages and disadvantages. In the third part the author defines hardware and software requirements for implementation and operation of server and client. The author describes implementation of IceWarp Mail Server and clients in general, including ways of migration of present data from the old system, and points out the most common problems and questions connected to this process. The last part of the dissertation is focused on finished projects of IceWarp Mail Server implementation into various organisations. First, initial conditions and expectations are analysed, then the process of implementation is described along with the arisen difficulties and their solution.
